Natural Health Chiropractic P.C.
922 Street Rd, Southampton, PA 18966
Here at Natural Health Chiropractic, P.C. we are a family oriented healthcare center. Our father and son team of chiropractors offer a unique and dynamic holistic approach to pain management as well as overall function and performance enhancement whether for sport, hobby, or employment. We believe that getting to the “root of a problem” is the only way to solve it. This is achieved by conducting a thorough physical exam, taking a detailed history, and by looking at the patient as a whole-person. Once the root has been determined, we will come up with our own treatment plan that will help you reach optimum recovery. Many of the problems seen daily in practice are rooted in muscular imbalances and improper muscle tone which affect the surrounding joints. By restoring normal muscle tone and function through deep tissue muscle therapy and appropriate exercise therapy we are able to apply gentle manipulation to any affected joints in the region to increase range of motion and decrease pain levels.
Both of our doctors have numerous post-graduate course work in deep-tissue muscle techniques such as Active Release Technique ™, ConnecTX ™ instrument-assisted muscle therapy, and myofascial trigger point therapy. We also utilize passive modalities such as ultrasound and electric stimulation combo therapy, Cold Laser therapy, Vibration therapy. We also have a special table that flexes and distracts the spine creating negative pressure and relieving symptoms caused by disc pathologies (herniations, bulges, etc.) and facet joint arthritis. Both of our doctors pride themselves in being gentle manipulators and often, for those patients not wanting a typical chiropractic adjustment, we will will utilize a more low-force technique such as an Activator or manual mobilization.
Pain is usually not related to one singular event but rather a series of events that are often minor, have been going on for a long time, and are related to what we do on a daily basis. Often we must address the event or events that are causing the pain as well as help the body run as efficiently as possible so that it may better heal itself. We can achieve this through proper nutrition, stress reduction, and with the additional help of supplementation when needed. Both of our doctors are experts in clinical nutrition and are more than happy in helping you develop better eating habits as well as address any nutritional deficiencies and establish a stress reduction treatment plan.
Our team is committed to providing high-quality chiropractic care to our local community. We look forward to helping each individual meet their optimum health goals. Please take a few moments to read what each of us have to say.
My name is Dr. Nick and I have been in the medical field since 2003. I served in the Army National Guard as a combat medic until 2009. In 2005 I was deployed to Iraq where I learned about leadership, perseverance, and patient care. I have worked in the emergency room at Brandywine Hospital and now serve the Southampton area and its neighboring communities as a chiropractor.
I attended New York Chiropractic College in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York. As a student I won numerous awards including Student of the Year. I graduated with honors in 2015. This afforded me an opportunity to work as a chiropractic intern at the Miami Veteran’s Administration Hospital where I treated a dynamic group of patients and was able to give back to those who served our great country!
I choose chiropractic as the vehicle in which I could provide care to my community. Being a chiropractor enables me to offer a drug-free approach to pain management as well as help others on their overall health and well-being journeys. I have had the great fortune of seeing firsthand the good that chiropractic can do while watching my father help others over the past 20 plus years. I am proud of the care he has provided and look forward to continuing his legacy.
My wife, Jen, and I have a daughter named Madelyn. As a family we enjoy outdoor activities, especially rock climbing. We are currently members of the Doylestown Rock Climbing gym. We love sharing our rock climbing passion with others so feel free to ask us about it!
My name is Dr. Joe. I graduated with honors from Pennsylvania Chiropractic College in 1995. I immediately opened up Natural Health Chiropractic, P.C. and have been serving the Southampton and Lower Bucks County area ever since. Before I became a chiropractor, I spent years in the automotive industry. I worked as a mechanic, rebuilt starters and alternators, and owned an auto parts store. I have always considered myself to be a mechanical thinker. I love figuring out why something is not working. This helped me tremendously as I made the adjustment from working on cars to working with people. I approach a patient’s complaint with the intent of solving the problem rather than just treating the symptom and by looking at them as a whole person.
I am proud to have opened the practice up to my son, Nick, who has chosen this amazing profession and will continue the work that my wife, Carla, and I began over 20 years ago. I look forward to watching him grow as I continue to embrace my role in his transition.
When I’m not at work I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time in Ocean City, NJ. Carla and I also enjoy ballroom dancing, a passion of ours.
